My Story…
I am running as part of Team May for The May Institute!
May Institute proudly provides services across the lifespan to autistic individuals, and individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, neurological disorders, and behavior disorders, to promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect. They provide compassionate and caring educational, therapeutic, habilitative, and consulting services grounded in evidence-based practice.
May Institute is committed to excellence in specialized services through training, research, and the highest level of professional expertise to meet the broad range of needs in individuals, families, schools, and communities.
Like many of you, I have a family member with autism: my nephew Timmy is a 22-year-old college junior who enjoys theatre, running, gaming, and spending time with family. I run for Tim and so that the May Institute can continue to fulfill its vision of being, "the premier global leader in providing innovative applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to autistic individuals, and individuals with neurobehavioral disorders, across the lifespan."
