My Story…

This year, I’m braving the heat, humidity and hills to run the Falmouth Road Race in support of Tommy’s Place. If you know me, then you know this race and I have a love/hate relationship! I hate it when I run it but love and miss it when I am on the sidelines. This year, my motivation to train is tied to raising money to support Tommy's Place.

Tommy’s Place is a magical nonprofit that gives children battling cancer and their families a week-long, all-expenses-paid vacation in a dream house in Falmouth, MA.  Every donation helps give these brave kids the gift of joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. 🏡✨

Tommy's Place Provides Over 100 Free Vacations Per Year on Cape Cod!

Tommy's Place owns and operates two 10+ bedroom year-round magical vacation homes for kids fighting cancer.  The homes are located in Falmouth and Centerville on Cape Cod. One family at a time, along with their extended family and friends, visits for a one week, free of charge, dream vacation to relax, make memories and most importantly have FUN!

Tommy's Place homes are equipped with inground swimming pools, game rooms, movie theatres, home taverns, arts + crafts rooms, music rooms, chef's kitchens, and much, much more.  A magical experience for the entire family! 
 
Since opening in July of 2021, nearly 300 families have vacationed at one of the Tommy's Place homes. In 2024, Tommy's Place began offering 104 magical vacations per year at its two vacation homes. Tommy's Place receives guest referrals from 11 New England children's hospitals and all families are placed through a lottery system. Guests are aged 3-17, actively being treated for pediatric cancer, and living permanently and full-time in New England.
