Help Marissa raise money

For participating in The 2025 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

My Story…

My sisters and I are running the Falmouth Road Race together this year in support of something deeply important to all of us: addiction recovery. We’re raising funds for Gosnold, an incredible organization that helps individuals and families find hope, healing, and a path forward.

Addiction touches so many lives, and recovery is a journey that deserves support, compassion, and community. That’s why we’re hitting the pavement—not just to cross a finish line, but to stand up for those fighting every day to reclaim their lives.

Every donation, big or small, helps provide vital resources and support for people on that path. Thank you so much for being part of this with us!

Description

Founded in Falmouth, MA in 1972, Gosnold is a mission-driven, award-winning treatment facility that offers a wide range of comprehensive treatment options for behavioral health and substance use disorders. Our mission is to excel in addiction and mental health treatment, to serve individuals and families affected by these illnesses, and to promote lasting recovery. Driven by a strong commitment to addressing the most urgent needs of the communities we serve, we believe that all people deserve access to high quality, compassionate care, regardless of their economic or social condition.

Some of our current programs and services include inpatient detoxification, residential rehabilitation programs, long-term sober living residences, partial hospital programs, intensive outpatient programs, individual, couples and family counseling, recovery coaching, emergency room navigation and family education/support programs. Each program is tailored to the patient’s individual needs.

While all health care providers struggle with insurance reimbursement rates, the challenge is particularly hard for nonprofit, mission-driven treatment centers like Gosnold. This is largely because of our steadfast commitment to treating all patients, regardless of their ability to pay. Many of our patients are uninsured or have insurance with low-reimbursing assistance benefits. While private and for-profit providers often turn away patients with plans that don't reimburse well, Gosnold strives to work with everyone, and this can present a significant financial challenge.
