Greetings, everyone!

This year will be my THIRD year running the Falmouth Road Race for another amazing foundation, the Bishstrong Foundation. This foundation is run by one of our clients at Journey Forward. DJ shows up multiple times a week with a focused and positive attitude, setting a great example. The Bishstrong Foundation is a non- profit organization which aims to inspire and encourage individuals with spinal cord injuries and those living with paralysis to remain active. They provide resources aimed at helping individuals to become more independent and lead, healthy and fulfilling lifestyles. Through fundraising, they provide financial assistance grants to qualified individuals to assist in the purchase of vitally necessary adaptive equipment. 

The Falmouth Road Race will always have a place in my heart, hence it being the first “long distance” race I have run in. I now have two half marathons under my belt and am training for my third! Running for an organization that has such a positive impact on people’s lives makes it even better! Please consider donating to the Bishstrong foundation through my race roster profile!
