My Story…

Hi, I’m David Lopes - a runner🏃‍♂️, father of two amazing girls, and passionate advocate for sports and community. This year, I’m excited to run the Falmouth Road Race on behalf of Bay State Games, an organization that champions youth athletics across Massachusetts.

Running has always been a big part of my life, and it’s even more meaningful now as I share it with my daughters ❤️. Inspired by the importance of community and access in sports, I founded Ardsley (https://www.ardsley.org/), a women’s sporting goods shop based in Watertown, MA, and the Watertown Running Club (https://heylo.group/watertownrc), a welcoming space for runners of all levels.

I’m proud to represent Bay State Games and all the young athletes they support — and I’m looking forward to crossing that Falmouth finish line with them in mind!🎉
