My Story…
Hello Friends!
I’m so excited to officially be running my very first Falmouth Road Race for Brigham and Women’s Hospital! I’m especially thrilled to be running alongside my sister, Lindsay, as we raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at BWH.
As a pediatric nurse and proud mom to my beautiful daughter, Mia Joy, this cause is incredibly close to my heart. Mia was born at 33 weeks, weighing just over 2 pounds, and my nephew Drew arrived even earlier at 28 weeks. Together, they spent more than 100 days in the NICU.
We are forever grateful to the amazing team of doctors, nurses, therapists, and other providers who delivered such exceptional care and helped bring our tiny warriors home.
I’m running this race in honor of all NICU warriors—especially Mia and Drew—and I’m so excited to raise funds to give back to the incredible team that made such a difference in our lives.
