My Story…
Running for More Than a Finish Line
This August, I’ll be running the Falmouth Road Race for the third year in a row to support Hospitality Homes—an incredible nonprofit that provides free housing to patients and families receiving medical care in Boston. When people are facing medical challenges, the last thing they should have to worry about is where they’ll sleep. Hospitality Homes makes sure they don’t have to.
They offer not just a roof, but comfort, community, and relief during some of life’s most difficult moments.
I’m honored to be running again alongside my older brother Ryan, and this year we’re welcoming a new teammate: my twin sister Lora, who’s joining the race for the first time. She may be my twin, but she beat me into this world by two minutes—and she’s been using that head start to her advantage ever since. So yes, there will be some light competition on the course this year.
But more importantly, we’re running together to support families in crisis—parents sleeping in waiting rooms, children undergoing treatment far from home, and caregivers who are exhausted but still showing up every day.
Every dollar we raise goes directly to providing safe, welcoming, and free places to stay for families who need to be near Boston hospitals. You’re not just giving shelter—you’re giving peace of mind when it matters most.
We’d be incredibly grateful for your support. Thank you for helping us go the distance—on and off the racecourse.
With gratitude (and a little sibling rivalry),
Nathan (with Ryan & Lora)
Description
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I'm so proud to be a member of TEAM HOSPITALITY HOMES in this year's Falmouth Road Race!
Your support means the world to me and will help continue to provide housing for patients and families traveling to Boston for critical medical treatment.
With the prohibitively expensive costs of local hotels- averaging $260 per night- and the lack of sufficient hospital- sponsored housing, many patients struggle with what to do, balancing these and other out-of-pocket expenses with the already high cost of responding to a complex or chronic illness.
Your donation is fully tax-deductible, as Hospitality Homes is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
