My Story…
Why I’m running for mental health awareness
Mental health has touched my life in more ways than one - through personal struggles, supporting loved ones and seeing firsthand how deeply it impacts people from all walks of life. I believe mental health is just as important as physical health and no one should ever feel alone in what they’re going through.
I’ll be running 7 miles in support of the Mental Health Collaborative, an organization dedicated to promoting mental health education, advocacy and support. Their mission to break the stigma and help people access the care and resources they deserve is something I feel truly connected to
My goal is to raise $1200 before race day on 8/17 and every dollar will help make mental health conversations and care more accessible in our communities.
Thank you for your consideration in donating I’m so grateful to have you in my corner. Together we can help make mental health a priority and remind people that it’s okay to ask for help.
