Health Update:

I’m excited to share that I met with the orthopedic surgeon yesterday and he cleared me to power walk — so I’ll still be doing the Falmouth Road Race (sad I can’t run but I’m taking the win) and raising money for a great cause.

I was recently diagnosed with cervical myelopathy and will be having an EMG and a lower back MRI to get a clearer picture of what’s going on. I’ll follow up with the orthopedic surgeon in August to plan next steps.

I’m so exited to run (power walk some?) Falmouth this year on Tommy’s Place team. Im running in memory of my nephew Alex who just recently passed away after a long fought battle with cancer! We never got to make it to Tommy’s Place with Alex because the timing never worked out but I know Alex would have loved it. I love what Tommy’s place does for children with cancer and their families. It gives them a chance to kick back, enjoy eachother, make epic memories and just be a kid for a little while. I’m honored to be raising money for this amazing place!
