My Story…
I’m Running for Recovery—And I Need Your Help
On August 17th, I’m running the Falmouth Road Race to raise funds for Wellstrong, a safe space to access wellness, fitness and a community for people in recovery. I’m also running to help end the stigma of addiction.
As a mom and a woman in recovery, I know firsthand how hard it is to find a way out. It took more than one try to get sober—and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. But I made it. And today, I dedicate my life to helping others find hope, healing, and purpose.
Addiction runs in my family, but so does love. Hope. Strength. Through my work as a peer wellness coach and pickleball instructor in the recovery community, I’ve seen what’s possible when people have the right support.
Wellstrong changed my life—and it’s changing lives every day. Please join me in supporting this incredible organization. Your donation helps provide fitness, connection, and support for people recovering from substance use disorder.
💙 Recovery is possible. Let’s run toward it—together.
Donate to help Karen raise money for The 2025 ASICS Falmouth Road Race’s fundraising campaign.
