My Story…
I’m so excited to run my first ever Falmouth Road Race in support of SOWMA. Having recently taught in an urban classroom where several of my students were experiencing homelessness or poverty, SOWMA’s vision to improve academic, social, and emotional support for these students really resonates with me and the work I know needs to be done in the education space. I’ve always been passionate about education, and am thrilled to be able to support SOWMA in ensuring that all students receive the quality education that they deserve.
Description
I am running for School on Wheels of Massachusetts to bring educational programs and opportunity to children and youth experiencing homelessness in Massachusetts! Your donation assures that students have access to tutoring, mentoring and customized backpacks, books and school supplies.
