I'm Running the Falmouth Road Race for Family Reach!
I first learned about Family Reach Foundation in my early 20s, when I worked with them on a Giving Tuesday campaign during my time at MK3 Creative. We were producing a fundraising video, and I remember being deeply moved by the mission and the people behind it—especially Carla Tardif, who is now the organization’s CEO. Family Reach provides critical financial support to families facing cancer, helping cover everyday expenses like rent, utility bills, and transportation so they can focus on what matters most: healing.
More than a decade later, I’m honored to be reconnecting with this incredible organization by running the Falmouth Road Race on their behalf. It’s my first race since having my two kids, and I can’t think of a more meaningful cause to run for. Cancer touches so many lives, and the stress of financial strain only makes the journey harder. Family Reach helps ease that burden—and that’s something I believe we can all rally behind. I’m proud to lace up for them this August and invite you to support this mission with me.
Description
Family Reach is the only national nonprofit 501(c)(3) focused solely on helping people with cancer access food, housing, utilities, and transportation. Treatment requires more than medicine — families need a roof over their heads and food on their tables to survive. We work with patients, care teams, and community-based organizations to provide immediate and ongoing financial support for these basic needs. Together we’re challenging the systems that force people to choose between their health and their homes.
