This summer, I’m running the Falmouth Road Race for the Alzheimer’s Association, in memory of my incredible mom, Deb.
My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at just 56 years old. For over a decade, we watched her slowly lose pieces of herself to this devastating disease.
During those years, our family and friends rallied around her. We raised funds, shared her story, and held onto hope that a cure could be found. While that cure didn’t come soon enough for my mom, the fight didn’t end with her passing.
After a few years off, I feel compelled to continue what we started! I am running to honor her memory and to keep pushing forward so that this disease doesn’t affect my friends, my family, or even my kids in the way that it impacted our family.
Running this race is one small way I can help bring hope, strength, and momentum towards a cure.

Team End ALZ is raising vital awareness and funding to support local families and individuals facing Alzheimer's and dementia while funding research for treatments and a cure. We run to honor and remember. We run for the first survivor. Please donate today!
