Help Mary Jeanne raise money

I am excited to once again be running the Falmouth Road Race and raising funds for the Falmouth Service Center. This year will be especially memorable as I will be running alongside my daughter, Olivia, and in loving memory of my mom, Anne O’Connor  

My mom began volunteering for FSC in 2012. She continued to do so until she was no longer physically able.  As those who knew her well can attest, she loved nothing more than giving back to others. She taught me and my siblings and our children the importance of caring for others in need. While volunteering to help others at the FSC certainly filled her with joy, it  also brought many wonderful friends into her life. Some of whom supported her in her time of need. We will be forever grateful to The Falmouth Service Center for the joy my mother experienced while volunteering and through the friends she made there. 

The Falmouth Service Center is a multi-service agency serving the upper Cape. Their goal is to support, educate and improve the quality of life of residents in need. Their services include an extensive food pantry, financial assistance, clothing, holiday programs and community outreach programs (eg.  A mobile fresh produce market). They work to increase client self sufficiency by helping to build networks among clients, neighbors and agencies.

I am honored to be raising funds to support their programs. I appreciate your contribution, no matter the amount. Thank you for considering and for donating to this worthy cause!

As my daughter so aptly states, “I’ll be chasing who my mom was as a person far past this finish line”!
