My Story…
I’m honored to be running the Falmouth Road Race this year in support of the 1019 Foundation, which was created in memory of my brother, James Lavin, and his best friend, Owen Higgins.
The 1019 Foundation carries on their legacy by investing in young athletes in our community—especially through college scholarships for senior athletes at Falmouth High School. These scholarships help deserving students continue their education and athletic journeys, a cause close to both James and Owen’s hearts.
In addition, we provide financial support to children in need, helping them participate in youth sports programs that build confidence, teamwork, and opportunity.
Your donation directly supports these efforts. Every dollar goes toward helping local student-athletes pursue their dreams, both on the field and in the classroom. Together, we can ensure that James and Owen’s passion for sports and community lives on in a meaningful way.
