This August, I’m running the Falmouth Road Race as a proud member of Team Ellie, supporting the Ellie Fund - a Massachusetts nonprofit that provides free, essential support services to breast cancer patients during treatment, including grocery assistance, prepared meals, rides to appointments, childcare, housekeeping, and more.

For twenty-five years, my grandmother battled hard against breast cancer. Though she didn’t receive services from the Ellie Fund, I witnessed how challenging that journey can be. Her strength and resilience continue to inspire me, and I’m running in her honor, and for every patient and loved one that is facing or has faced a cancer diagnosis.

The Ellie Fund steps in during one of the most vulnerable times in a person’s life, offering practical help that allows patients to focus on what matters most: healing and being with their loved ones. Many of the people they support are also facing financial hardship, and demand for services continues to grow each year.

100% of the funds raised by Team Ellie go directly to patient services, so your donation will make an immediate and meaningful difference.
