My Story…
Hi friends! My name is Elizabeth McKeon and I am proud to announce I will be lacing up my racing sneakers for my very first Falmouth Road Race as a charity runner supporting The Cape Cod Times Neighbors Fund! I have been a lifelong runner, from my high school cross-country days to my now (...much slower) jogging stroller era! I am not only excited to add this race to my running career, but also to be supporting a great cause! This cause helps support local Cape Cod Families in need (housing, food, shelter, etc). Description
The Cape Cod Times Neighbors Fund, Inc. has been helping local residents since 1936. Our mission is to provide urgent financial assistance for basic human needs such as housing, food, medical needs, transportation and heat, to individuals and families residing on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket who are experiencing temporary financial hardships. Most of the money raised comes from Cape Cod individuals, families, businesses, clubs, civic organizations, schools and faith communities - "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" is what we are all about.
