I'm running the 53rd ASICS Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Adele and I are at it again this summer training for the Falmouth Road Race - her 2nd and my 12th!!! This time we are linking back up with the great charity, JAF, to help raise money for those fighting cancer. JAF provides financial support to patients and families to take care of basic necessities so they can focus on their health. We are excited to run to help those that can't run for themselves at this time, please support our efforts if you can.
We dedicate this run to all those in our lives who have had their own personal battle with cancer: mothers, fathers, grandparents, daughters, sisters, aunts, uncles and friends.
Description
The Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) is committed to providing assistance to patients of all ages, any cancer, throughout New England who are struggling financially due to a cancer diagnosis. JAF understands that everyday living expenses don’t stop because of a diagnosis, and JAF provides various programs to help patients make ends meet. Because patients and families must often devote all their energy and resources toward treatment, the Foundation helps alleviate financial and emotional stress by providing grants to assist with rent/mortgage, transportation to treatment, food, and more. Through our Assistance Programs, the grant recipients can focus on their cancer treatment and not the financial distress that comes with it.
