Good Sports is a nonprofit based in the South Shore that works to make youth sports more accessible. They partner with organizations in high-need communities so cost doesn’t keep anyone out of sports they love. Since 2003, Good Sports has donated over $117 million worth of new sports gear, equipment, and footwear to youth programs all over the country. 

Sports at a young age aren’t just about the game—they help kids stay active, build social skills, learn discipline, and gain a sense of belonging. These experiences can shape a child’s future both on and off the field.

This mission hits home to me. Playing sports for as long as I can remember taught me so much about resilience, confidence, and teamwork. 

 Some of my favorite memories come from the friendships I’ve built throughout my time playing sports, which ultimately led me to play soccer at Northeastern University.  

Because of what sports gave me, I feel strongly about helping young kids access the same opportunities. 

 To help give more kids the chance to create those same kinds of opportunities, I’ll be participating in this year’s Falmouth Road Race as part of Team Good Sports.

Every $20 helps gear up one child to play, and by supporting Good Sports, you are directly helping kids stay active, connected, and confident through sports.
