My Story…
This August, I will be participating in the Falmouth Road Race in Falmouth, Massachusetts. This will be the 53rd running of the iconic 7-mile race along the ocean on Cape Cod. I will be running to benefit the Hopkinton Emergency fund, a local charity started by and for the residents of my hometown, Hopkinton, MA.
The Hopkinton Emergency Fund has given more $79,000 in urgent financial funds to residents in need through collaboration with local social service partners. If you would like to learn more about the HEF and the incredible work they do, please visit www.hopkintonemergencyfund.org .
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to run for such an amazing cause and I hope you will consider donating to my fundraising goal. Your contribution would mean so much to me!
While I am very excited, I also acknowledge that these are uncertain and difficult financial times for many families. No amount is too small but if you are ultimately unable to give at this time, I completely understand and appreciate your moral support, as well!
Thank you so much,
Kate Blake
