Help Amanda raise money

I am excited and ready to run my first Falmouth Road Race but beyond the training, I am thrilled to be running for a team that supports a very special cause.

We Beat Cancer is an organization that shares their funds with patients and their families going through pediatric cancer treatment and remission. This money will be used to help with fun activities, patient assistance (like parking and childcare) and also help with paying medical expenses.

One special little patient that I’ve come to admire is Owen. Owen, along with his incredible family, have been fighting fearlessly for the last couple of years. Owen’s smile along with his family’s enthusiasm have taken cancer by storm as they continue through treatments, tests and hospital visits. 

We Beat Cancer’s fund-raising dollars go directly to assisting patients like Owen and their families. Keeping these little fighters’ spirits strong throughout their visits is something that I really hope to have an impact on by running this race.
