While I never knew Brit personally, her story has deeply touched my heart. Her family’s commitment to carrying out her dream—and turning heartbreak into hope—is nothing short of inspiring.

Haiti holds a very special place in my heart. I’ve had the privilege of volunteering there in the past, and the resilience and spirit of the Haitian people have stayed with me ever since. Although this is my first time running this race and my first time fundraising for Be Like Brit, I’m proud to support a mission that so closely aligns with my own values and experiences.
