My Story…
Hello Friends and Family! As the Team Captain for Courageous Parents Network's Falmouth Road Race Team, I'm participating in the race this year via the virtual option, the week before the in-person race. My plan is to log my miles in Falmouth and share pictures along the way! On race day I'll be managing logistics, and cheering our team on.
Our family was introduced to CPN in 2015, by the PACT team at Boston Children's Hospital when our daughter Emerson was diagnosed with Type 2 Gaucher's Disease at 8 months old. Emerson died in 2016 at 16 months old, and we feel that we gave her the best, and most full, life possible. And while her death was devastating, we had (and still have) no regrets about the decisions we made along the way. We strongly believe that the support and guidance we found in CPN helped make this so. It is such a great honor to now contribute to this organization so that other families may have the same support that we did.
