For participating in The 2025 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

My RMH Motivation

Every year, running the Falmouth Road Race with Ronald McDonald House Charities of New England takes on new meaning for me.

This mission is more than just my job—it’s personal. As a mother of three, I’ve met countless families who have stayed at our House during their child’s medical treatment. What moves me most is meeting the siblings. Seeing families able to stay together during unimaginably difficult times is a reminder of just how vital RMHCNE is.

I can’t imagine having to leave one—or two—of my children behind during a health crisis. RMHC Global research confirms what we intuitively know: children do better when their siblings are by their side. They're better able to cope, emotionally and physically, when surrounded by family.

This year’s race will be a different kind of challenge. Less than four months postpartum, I know it won’t be my fastest Falmouth. But it will be my most meaningful—because for the first time, one of my babies will be on the sidelines watching me finish. I’ll be running in honor of my children and the hundreds of families your donations will support this year.

If you’re able, I hope you’ll consider making a gift. Every mile matters—and every dollar helps keep families close.

Thank you so much for your support.

Description

As the excitement builds for the upcoming Falmouth Road Race I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your support of a cause that truly matters – supporting families in need through Ronald McDonald House Charities of New England.

With every stride we take, we are not just covering miles, we are helping provide a home away from home. On August 17, 2025 Team RMHCNE will hit the pavement to race the historic 7 mile course, while raising critical funds to support the Ronald McDonald House in Providence and the Ronald McDonald House at Boston Harbor.

Each year hundreds of families travel to New England from locations all over the world to give their child access to the best medical care. In doing so, they face enormous hurdles such as navigating the complexities of the health care system, extraordinarily high local housing costs, and excessive emotional and physical stress. At the Ronald McDonald House Charities of New England, we remove the stress of daily living and support families to enable them to focus on what really matters: their child’s health and healing.

This year Team RMHCNE will work together to provide over 1,000 nights of housing, comfort and support for families of critically ill children. Together, we can reduce the stress associated with financial strain so families can focus on the health of their children.

I hope I can count on you to support my run by contributing to this very special program.  Together we can make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.
