NOTE: We have parking spots specifically reserved for race day swimmers who weren’t able to make a reservation. You will need to identify yourself as swimmers for the event to get the special race day only entry. The fee is $10 for Nevada residents and $15 for everyone else. Spectators should be in the car with you, as you will not be able to just get a swimmer pass. We have more than enough parking spots for our swimmers.

Sharks in Lake Tahoe? Card Sharks maybe, although you may see other aquatic species in the crystalline clear waters of Lake Tahoe. Sand Harbor State Park located on the northeast shore of the lake offers both comfortable water and air temperatures this time of year, making it a perfect swim venue. The 1-mile swim will start at the beach next to the boat ramp, swim out through the unique rock formations and finish at the south end of the park’s Main Beach. This swim is particularly special, as it takes place at the most stunningly beautiful, boulder-strewn area of Lake Tahoe. The event is limited to 300 participants, so don’t wait to register!
PLEASE NOTE: This swim is not for novices. This event is for experienced open-water swimmers only. You should be able to swim one mile comfortably in a pool in under 40 minutes.

RACE DAY DETAILS: An email with all the race day details will be sent to all registered participants and posted online here 1-2 weeks prior to event day. Please check back for any updates and the full race day itinerary.
DAY USE RESERVATIONS are required for each vehicle entering Sand Harbor State Park on race day. These reservations can be made on-line here:http://www.reservenevada.com starting on May 19, 2025. Any spectators wanting to enter the park on race day must also have a reservation. The reservation fee is $10 for Nevada residents, $15 for all others and there is a $5 processing fee per reservation. Be sure to bring documentation as proof of payment for Park officials. The Park Day Use fee is non-transferable and non-refundable. This fee is separate from the race participant registration fee. Without a Day Use reservation, participants will not be allowed to enter the park and cannot be dropped off outside on the highway.
FYI dogs are NOT allowed in the park during the summer months.
CANCELLATIONS: Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Here are the policy Terms & Conditions of the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program. You cannot purchase it AFTER you have completed your checkout. Otherwise, if you don't purchase the refund protection, and you need to cancel, you can email us by July 17, 2025 to receive a rollover credit (the amount you paid minus a $20 fee) to use toward any future Enviro-Sports race. After that date, a doctor's note is required to receive a credit.
