Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity to run the Bats 5k, the only race where you finish the last ¼ mile with a lap around the diamond at Louisville Slugger Field!
Course will start and finish outside the back gate on Witherspoon with the award ceremony taking place inside the stadium.

Kids race around the outfield. After the last runners finish the 5k, the kids will assemble on the field for a run around the outfield warning track. All kids run finishers will get a medal and photo with Buddy Bat!

Bats Grand Slam Double Header
Enter and finish both the Louisville Bats 5k on June 14th and the Dr. Ed Morgan/Kiwanis Grand Slam 4 Miler on July 19th and earn the Bats Grand Slam Double Header Medal!
Join the Louisville Bats for the 3rd Annual Louisville Bats 5k. Start and finish outside the back gate of Louisville Slugger Field on Witherspoon and run the last 1/4 mile of the race around the baseball field and all entrants receive a dateless voucher for any Bats home game.
Dr. Ed Morgan/Kiwanis Grand Slam 4 Miler is a four-mile run/walk through beautiful Waterfront Park in the morning and a baseball game that evening. What a perfect way to spend a summer Saturday. All registrants receive their choice of a cotton blend, tech or women's tech tank (only pre-registered will be guaranteed a shirt on race day) or get two for an additional $10.
Pre-Race Packet Pickup
Save time race morning and pickup your packet on Friday, June 13th at Ken Combs Running Store, 4137 Shelbyville Rd. from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Race Day Packet Pickup
Starting at 7:00 a.m. at the back gate plaza (corner of N. Preston and E. Witherspoon) of Louisville Slugger Field.
Race Day Parking
On race day, parking will be available at Louisville Slugger Field, 501 E. Main St.
