Run for 102 Race to the Finish
Packet Pick-Up & Onsite Registration Packet pickup and onsite Registration with be held at Gemini Gymnastics; Friday 4/11/25 between 12p-6p. We HIGHLY encourage registering during packet pickup versus registering on race day. Gemini Gymnastics is located at 330 W Washington Ave, La Grange, IL.
Run for 102 will be on Saturday April 12, 2025 at Cossitt Avenue Elementary School, 115 W Cossitt Ave, La Grange, IL 60525
Both races are concurrent and start promptly at 8:00am
The 10th Annual Run for 102 Race to the Finish is open to anyone within or outside the District 102 community. It benefits the PTO/PTCs for the six schools in District 102: Barnsdale Road School, Congress Park Elementary School, Cossitt Avenue Elementary School, Forest Road Elementary School, Ogden Avenue Elementary School and Park Junior High.
The events start & finish at Cossitt Avenue Elementary School at the corner of Madison & Harris and travels a course through La Grange and concludes with a post-race party including music and fun!
PLEASE NOTE: . Only K-8th graders will be eligible for awards for the 1-mile fun run.
Walkers are welcome!

Strollers and walkers permitted at the back of the pack. No dogs, roller blades, bicycles, or skateboards allowed.

Race Timing The Run for 102 uses a disposable chip timing tag that runners receive at packet pick up on their race bibs. It is lightweight and remains attached to the race bib. Runners must wear their race bibs on the front of their clothing (preferably chest) in order to be timed accurately. There is no post race chip turn-in or fee for lost or unreturned chips.
Runners MUST wear their race bibs on the front of their clothing in order to be timed accurately. The bib cannot be covered, holding it in your hand or putting it in your pocket will NOT read the chip. Do not bend the chip. Smart watches such as Garmin and smart phones can interfere with the timing chip frequency. Please do not adjust your watch or phone as you cross the finish line and come through the chute. Disputes for times on Smart watches and smart phones will not be taken into consideration.
Mascots We are excited to have many of the mascots representing the district schools present on race day. They will cheer on runners as they cross the finish line!
Packet Pick-Up Advanced packet pickup with be held at Gemini Gymnastics; Friday 4/11/25 between 12p-6p. Gemini Gymnastics is located at 330 W Washington Ave, La Grange, IL. Registration is available at packet pickup. Race registrations will also be accepted and are HIGHLY encouraged versus registering on race day.
Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up Race day registration and packet pickup opens at 6:45am and closes PROMPTLY at 7:30am. Please allow plenty of time for race day registration.
Parking If you are local, please try to walk, bike, or carpool to the start line. For those driving, please review the options provided in downtown La Grange.
