and Kid’s 1 Mile Fun Run

A Touch of Speed® is excited to announce our 5th Annual 5K and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, November 1, 2025. This year’s race will be Retro Rewind themed, inviting participants to lace up in their best 70s to 90s workout gear for a nostalgic and energetic community celebration!

Over the last four years, the A Touch of Speed 5K has welcomed hundreds of runners and walkers of all ages. Through this annual event, we’ve been able to:

Offset registration costs for participants.
Purchase new equipment for our youth athletes.
Offer full and partial scholarships to children unable to afford registration fees.

So please join us and continue to help make a difference in our community.

The race course will start and end at Fort Dorchester High parking lot near the North Charleston Aquatic Center. It is a mostly flat and fast course if you are looking to run a qualifying time.
