Get Ready to Light Up the Night
Join us for the inaugural Light Up the Night 5k, a glowing celebration of courage, community, and change. This event isn't just a run or a race—it's about lighting a path to a safer future for female runners.
As the sun sets, runners and walkers of all abilities will light up the park in a powerful display of support for a safer world.
A portion of each race entry will be donated to Tower Grove Park to enhance park safety features like improved lighting—because every runner deserves to feel secure and empowered.

Course Map & Details
The route is a horseshoe shape, beginning and ending between the Sons of Rest Pavilion and Stupp Center in Tower Grove Park.
The 1.5-mile route will turn around before crossing Main Drive, and the 5k route will turn around before the second crossing of Main Drive. Both turn-around points are labeled in pink on the map:
Both the 5k and the 1.5 mile event begin at 6:30 p.m., and travel an identical path. We encourage speed racers to start near the front, and walkers near the back to ease congestion and make the event fun for all.
While the park is lit at night, we encourage participants to wear additional lighting, if you have any—head lamps, light up vests, arm bands, etc. This helps with visibility but also adds to the celebratory vibe. We'll also have course marshals lit up and stationed along the route guiding runners.
Packet Pick-Up
Packets can be picked up on Friday, March 7th from 10am-6pm at Running Niche or on race evening at Sons of Rest in Tower Grove beginning at 5:00pm.
