Schedule
7:30 am: Bib collection opens at the Pride Run Village. We're located near the King George V Monument on Linlithgow Avenue. The nearest tram stop is number 17 at the Police Memorial on St Kilda Road.
8:20 am: Warm up – join us in an energetic warm up to get ready for the run / walk.
8:25 am: Group photo
8:30 am: Off we go! We will be setting off in three waves:
1. Runners: two laps
2. Runners: one lap
3. Walkers: one lap
Bib collection
In addition to morning-of bib collection, due to increased participation numbers we're now also handing out bibs at two regular Melbourne Frontrunners running / walking sessions leading up to Pride Run. Come collect your bib and join us for a run or walk!
1. 8:30 am on Saturday 21 Feb (day prior to Pride Run) at the Melbourne Observatory at The Tan.
2. 6:30 pm on Wednesday 18 Feb at the Pillars of Wisdom at The Tan.
Bag drop
Yes, we will have a bag drop. We recommend you leave any items of value at home.
Water stations
In addition to water stations at the top of Anderson Street and at Pride Run Village, we have a new water station at the Pillars of Wisdom. Several water bubblers are also located around The Tan.
Important note for 2026: we're going cupless! In 2025 paper cups were our largest waste item by a significant margin. To reduce this waste, we encourage you to bring your own hydration containers such as a hydration vest or collapsible cup. To aid with this transition, we're providing all registered participants with a ‘collapsible cup’. These can be collected when you collect your bib.
