My Story…
Hey everyone!
I’ll be running my very first half marathon at the Pittsburgh Half Marathon in support of the ALS Association. They fund critical research, provide care and resources for patients and families, and advocate for better treatments and support for people living with ALS.
As many of you know my grandfather, John Pusey, passed away from ALS in December 2020. Since then, my grandmother, Suzanne, has continued to honor him by participating in ALS Association walks down the shore, and her dedication inspired me to find my own way to give back.
The race takes place on the morning of May 3rd — the same day I graduate from the University of Pittsburgh. Because of graduation, my parents and grandmother will already be in town to watch the race. My goal is to SURPRISE them that day with how much money I’ve raised for the ALS Association and everyone that has donated.
I would be truly grateful for any donation, of any amount, to help support this important mission. Thank you so much in advance for your support.
And don't forget, please don't tell Meg or Suzanne about this fundraiser, as I said its a SURPRISE!
