My Story…
I’m running a half marathon this spring to support ARYSE because their work with immigrant and refugee youth in Pittsburgh really resonates with me. These students face a lot of uncertainty and challenges, and ARYSE provides mentorship, educational resources, and community support that make a real difference in their lives.
Last year, with the help of friends, family, and my network, we raised over $1,300. This year, I’m aiming for $2,500. Every dollar goes directly to supporting ARYSE’s programs and operations, helping them continue offering these critical services completely free of cost to participants.
Even if you can’t donate, sharing this page is a huge help and deeply appreciated. Thank you for helping me run for a cause that matters — and for giving me a reason to push a little harder on my training
Description
This year, our goal is to raise at least $30,000 through the marathon campaign, which will cover the essential expenses for our program like student transportation, interpretation and translation services, hot meals, and personnel. Thanks to donations from hundreds of individuals and local foundations, the program is completely free of cost to participants. Support from our marathon runners and their networks will help us keep it that way.
