My Story…

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by. :)

I've decided to run the Pittsburgh Half Marathon for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

As some of you may know, my mother, Julie, battled MS for over a decade. Julie was one of the most positive, supportive, and overall beautiful human beings on this earth.

She faced her adversities head on with a smile and grace. I was truly honored to be her daughter.Unfortunately, she passed away in July 2022 at age 60 after a battle with both MS and appendix cancer. I will be running in memory of her this upcoming May.

My two aunts, my mom's older sisters, are still battling this horrible disease. MS is a cause near and dear to everyone in our family. By raising money for MS research, we can help families who are affected and get one step closer to a cure.

In true Juls spirit, I am running with a "gratitude attitude" and thank you all for the support personally, financially, and spiritually.

My goal — a world free of multiple sclerosis.

I’ve signed up for Finish MS to push myself physically and raise important funds for the National MS Society.

Multiple sclerosis is a devastating disease that no one should face alone, and the Society is there so no one has to. This organization has paved the way for every effective MS treatment available today and is the best investment in reaching a cure for multiple sclerosis.

I’m running full steam ahead with a commitment to end MS, and I hope I can count on your support as I prepare for this incredible experience. I’ve set an ambitious goal because I know that with your help I can get there!
