My Story…
🧡 Run for a Reason
This May I am running the Pittsburgh Back Half Marathon to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. As you may know, this cause is especially meaningful to me because my daughter lives with MS. As you may also know, I am new to running! New to sore legs, ice packs, achy achilles, so-called “recovery runs”, early mornings, cold runs, and treadmill runs. On the days I don’t feel like running, I think of Lucie. I am inspired by her determination to do hard things, and I attempt to follow her lead by taking on a new and uncomfortable challenge for myself.
While right now there is no cure, treatment for MS has made huge strides in the last 30 years. We are grateful for the incredible medical support we have received. I have hope for a cure and that hope is powered by research.

Description
My goal — a world free of multiple sclerosis.
I’ve signed up for Finish MS to push myself physically and raise important funds for the National MS Society.
Multiple sclerosis is a devastating disease that no one should face alone, and the Society is there so no one has to. This organization has paved the way for every effective MS treatment available today and is the best investment in reaching a cure for multiple sclerosis.
I’m running full steam ahead with a commitment to end MS, and I hope I can count on your support as I prepare for this incredible experience. I’ve set an ambitious goal because I know that with your help I can get there!
Join me on this journey — donate today and help me reach my goal.
