My Story…
Hi, my name is Quinn and I am 9 years old.
I am running the Pittsburgh Marathon to raise money for Alzheimer’s because my Pap has it.
I see my Pap every day after school. He has been in my life since I was born. He used to watch me when I was little and take care of me. I love him so, so much.
Alzheimer’s makes people forget things. Sometimes my Pap forgets stuff, and that makes me sad. I wish there was a cure so he wouldn’t have to have this disease.
My grandma, who we call DeeDee, takes care of my Pap every day. She helps him with everything and loves him so much. She is very important and very strong. I am also running for her.
I am running for my Pap.
I am running for my DeeDee.
And I am running so someday we can stop Alzheimer’s.
We love our Pap… but we hate Alzheimer’s. 💜
Thank you for helping me make a difference!
Love,
Quinn
