As individuals who have personally felt and witnessed the first-hand effects of mental health, our mission is to advocate for those experiencing mental health challenges.

Embrace Mental Health Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting mental health by funding clinics that offer pro bono counseling and vital resources to those in need. Our mission is to ensure accessible, compassionate mental health care for all, regardless of financial barriers, while raising awareness about the importance of mental well-being within communities.

Founded by three passionate runners who witnessed firsthand the profound impact mental health has on individuals and their surroundings, we set out to make a difference. We use our love for running as a vehicle to drive change, channeling our energy into supporting those affected by mental health challenges.

For every $100 donated, one individual will receive a full mental health assessment at Rosecrance, a local mental health clinic in Champaign, to determine the right level of care. They’ll also gain access to free Benefits Case Management to secure insurance for ongoing treatment and receive no-cost crisis services—including drop-in support, intensive case management, and mobile crisis response—to help them stay safe and supported when it matters most.

Together, we can give back to those who are the heart of the university and those facing financial barriers to mental health services. Join us in making a difference—one mile at a time.
