A New Day in Cancer Care
The Nun Run for Cancer is more than a race—it is a celebration of hope, compassion, and community. Inspired by the Mission of The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis to serve all people with the greatest care and love, the 4th Annual Nun Run for Cancer brings together individuals, families, and survivors who believe that together, we can make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Inspired by our Mission to serve with the greatest care and love, this event reflects our commitment to standing beside patients and families—providing not only exceptional cancer care, but compassion, dignity, and hope throughout every step of their journey” shared Michelle Conger, chief executive officer, OSF HealthCare.
Over the past several years, more than 24,250 patients and families have been touched by the care provided through the OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute. Support from events like the Nun Run helps ensure patients have access to advanced treatments, supportive services, and innovative care—close to home, when they need it most.
“Hope is not just something we feel—it is something we do, together,” said Dr. Jim McGee, president of OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute. “Every step taken at the Nun Run represents a commitment to our patients and to a future with better outcomes and brighter tomorrows.”
