9/11 Memorial Climb
Join the UC Davis Police Department, UC Davis Fire Department, and UC Davis Athletics for our annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb and Walk. Together, we gather to honor the ultimate sacrifices made by the brave first responders and victims of September 11, 2001.
Whether you are a first responder climbing in full uniform (fire turnouts, patrol uniform, etc.) or a community member climbing in solidarity your participation ensures we never forget.
Event Details:
- Stadium Opens: 7:00 AM
- Climb/Walk Begins: 7:15 AM
- Stadium Closes: 11:30 AM

- Pancake Breakfast to fuel your morning
- Commemorative T-Shirt (Sign up early to get your desired shirt size!)

Not climbing? You can still support the cause with our walk. The walk will consist of 15 laps around the stadium.
Every step you walk and every stair you climb will directly support our community. This year, all event proceeds will be dedicated to the newly created UC Davis Police Emergency Scholarship, providing vital financial support to students in times of sudden crisis.

Event Schedule
- Event Start time: The event will start at exactly 7:15am
- Parking: Please park in Lot 56 (parking lot right in front of the stadium)
- Memorial Walk: Walk will be held on the track inside the stadium
