The It’s a Bloke Thing Foundation is a registered not-for-profit organisation dedicated to raising awareness, funding vital research, and improving care for men affected by prostate cancer, especially for rural Australian men and their families .
Since our inception, we’ve hosted one of the country’s most successful annual fundraising Luncheons, engaging communities, businesses, and individuals in the fight against prostate cancer. The funds raised directly support prostate cancer research, fund specialist Prostate Cancer Nurses, and an education roadshow, particularly in regional and rural areas of Queensland, where support is often needed most. In 2026 we will also fund mobile PSA screening in regional Queensland, in partnership with the Heart of Australia trucks & supported by the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
At our core, we exist to break down the stigma surrounding men’s health, spark important conversations, and help save lives - one bloke at a time.
