My Story…
Emma and I are taking on the Bluenose Marathon to raise money for Ronald McDonald House — an organization that means more to me than I can put into words.
When my nephew Riley was just 5 months old, he underwent a heart transplant. During that incredibly difficult time, my family and I stayed at Ronald McDonald House. They gave us more than just a place to sleep — they gave us comfort, support, and the ability to stay close to Riley when he needed us most.
Ronald McDonald House keeps families together during some of the hardest moments of their lives. Because of them, we were able to focus on what truly mattered: being there for Riley.
Running this marathon is our way of giving back to an organization that gave so much to us. To show our appreciation for your support, we’ll be adding the name of every sponsor to the back of our shirts for each $20 donation. We’re proud to carry your support with us every step of the way.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide housing, meals, and support to families facing medical crises.

Our House and Family Rooms helps to provide relief to families going through very difficult times by providing all the comforts of home while taking care of the “little things”, so that parents can spend more time caring for the most important thing… their sick child. The care we give to our families is only possible thanks to the generosity of our donors. Your donations and fundraising efforts give children and their families the gift of greater comfort while they’re away from home.
