Our story…
Surfrider Foundation Canada is a registered charity dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the ocean, beaches, and waves—for all people.
The Atlantic Chapter is extending Surfrider Canada's coastal protection, ocean conservation, and accessibility efforts to the east coast.
Entirely volunteer-based, Surfrider Canada's Atlantic Chapter facilitates ocean conservation campaigns and programs by, among other things, organizing monthly beach clean-ups, holding events to increase accessibility of the oceans and surfing for people who face barriers that could otherwise limit their access, hosting programs to increase ocean literacy, and undertaking campaigns to limit ocean pollution. In 2026, we will be launching Surfrider’s Blue Water Task Force, conducting periodic water quality testing in the HRM and South Shore.
The Surfrider Atlantic Canada team would be grateful to have you run and fundraise on our behalf. All funds raised will stay in Atlantic Canada and will directly support our Chapter's programs and campaigns.
