Important Registration Details
- Participants that enrol in the RaceRoster refund program will be refunded if they are unable to attend due to a variety of unforeseen circumstances, such as: injury, illness, mechanical breakdown, severe weather. Participants that choose not to enrol in the refund program and can not attend regardless of circumstances, their registration fee will be non-refundable from DMMF.
- We’re sorry, but no late registrations will be accepted after MAY 2nd. This deadline is in place to help ensure a smooth and successful event for all volunteers and registered participants.

Kid’s Run (Free and Fun)
There is no fee and no registration required for the Kid's Run. Proudly sponsored and operated by the YMCA. proudly sponsors the Kid’s Run and will have a table set up prior to the race to share information and answer any questions.
- 8:10 am - a brief warm-up session will begin
- 8:30 am start of run at the stairs by the pavilion (The Rotary Cove, 352 Cove Road, Goderich), running north and ending at the Rotary Cove Arch
All children who take part will receive a bib & a medal for their participation.
Post-Race Refreshments/Breakfast
All REGISTERED participants are invited to enjoy a buffet-style spread following the event, featuring a variety of items including fresh fruit, yogurt, granola bars, coffee, and juice. Family members & friends can enjoy for a donation.
It's our way of saying thank you for taking part and helping make the day a success!
Awards
Prize money will be available for each race distance listed below, with amounts subject to change as sponsors come on board.
1st place male overall ~ $100.00; 1st place female overall ~ $100.00
2nd place male overall ~ $75.00; 2nd place female overall ~ $75.00
3rd place male overall ~ $50.00; 3rd place female overall ~ $50.00
All participants will also be presented with a medal.
Door Prize & Bike Draw Entry is included with Registration
All registered participants will be entered for the door prizes and the bike draw.
- Names will be drawn on May 5th.
- Winners of the prizes and bike draw will be notified via email.
- Winners can collect their prize or the bike from the PRIZE table when they pick up their race bib/kit or after the run on Sunday.
Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund
The Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund is a fund set up in memory of Dave Mounsey, an OPP Officer, who lost his life in the line of duty in 2006. This fund raises money that goes directly towards the purchase of defibrillators. In 2024, 27 defibrillators were donated throughout the year, reaching a total of 201. 7 lives have been confirmed saved by the Fund's donations; and so many women and men remembered. We look forward to our 18th year being our most successful yet in 2025 for The Run Around The Square. For more information, check out our site. davemounsey.com
