Kali's Wish Cancer Foundation

It all began with Kali — a beautiful golden retriever who passed away from blood cancer at just seven years old. Her guardian, and now our Board Chair, Laura Leah English, turned that heartbreaking journey into a promise: that no one should ever have to face pet cancer or loss alone.

What started as a small, heartfelt effort in Alberta has grown into the only charity in Canada and the US dedicated exclusively to supporting families through the emotional challenges of pet cancer and loss. Today, Kali’s Wish provides free, compassionate resources — offering comfort, guidance, and community during one of the hardest experiences a pet family can face.
