This year, I’m running my very first Calgary Marathon with my mom on the Strong Like Sloane team! It’s a big race, and I might need lots of breaks… and maybe even a few piggyback rides 😉
We’re doing this to help kids who are fighting cancer, like Sloane. Kids get cancer too, and we want people to know that and help make things better. Even if I have to walk sometimes or stop to rest, I’m still proud to be part of something important.
I’m excited to run (and walk!) beside my mom, wear my Strong Like Sloane shirt, and help raise money so kids can get the help they need. I hope I can even meet Sloane!
