My Story…
I’m raising $500 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals as part of the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Run — and I’d love your support!
Growing up in Northern Virginia and playing soccer for five years at Radford University and the University of Delaware taught me how powerful teamwork and community can be. During my time at UD, I was heavily involved with UDance, an organization that raises money for families impacted by childhood cancer. That experience has stuck with me ever since — and it’s a big reason I wanted to support a cause that helps kids and families right here at home.
I ran my first half marathon last year, and this spring I’ll be back for my second before tackling my first full marathon in October. Running has become a new way for me to push myself while giving back — and knowing this race supports Children's Miracle Network Hospitals makes it even more meaningful.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals supports 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada, funding life-saving treatments, pediatric equipment, child life programs, and care for families who otherwise couldn’t afford it. Every donation makes a real impact — helping kids heal, families find hope, and communities grow stronger. Together, we can change kids’ health. Together, we can change the future.

I'm fundraising $500 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals to run the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Run, and need your support!
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals that support the health of 12 million kids each year across the U.S. and Canada. Donations go to local hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford these health services. When we improve the health of all children and allow them the opportunity to reach their full potential, we also improve our communities for years to come.
