My Story…
This year I am pushing myself to run 12 km to raise $500 for thousands of people across WA living with a disability. By raising $500, the proceeds will help raise vital funds to support people living with a disability!
City to Surf directly supports genU, who offer a range of services for people with disabilities. genU enables people with disabilities to gain choice and control, support them to be more independent, connect with the community, be active, and acquire a job or a place to call home.
As my mum has worked with people with disabilities for years, as well as both my nana and aunty living day-to-day with disability, I’ve grown up seeing the actual, everyday challenges people face when the world isn't accessible. It’s a cause I’ve always been around, and I wanted to do something useful to support the work being done in this space:)

I’m doing this to empower Western Australians living with disability - helping them grow their independence, achieve their goals, and live life to the fullest.
