My Story…
I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease at the end of 2024. From there it has been ups and downs. Hospitalisation in 2025 with a full active flare has made me appreciate how grateful and lucky i am to be alive and for the incredible staff/nurse/doctors at Fiona Stanley who were supportive, kind and healed me during this scary time. I am truly grateful for their help and guidance. This has lead to changing my whole diet to Animal based, reintroducing food one at a time and getting to a base line 'safe' foods menu through this elimination diet. To the point now that i am returning to fitness and running/jogging which i use to do before but stopped. So i am raising money to support other people like myself and students that i have taught who have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
