Our story…

The Flurtons are two families — the Forresters and the Blurtons — who turned years of crossing paths into one team.


Aged from as young as 4 years old to 58 years old, we’re showing up together for City to Surf, taking on both the 4km and 12km.


No pressure on pace, just pride in finishing together.


Between busy lives and minimal training, we’re backing each other to get it done and having a laugh along the way.


This year we’re also aiming to raise $1,000 as The Flurtons — for the experience, the effort, and the people doing it beside us.



Description

This year, we are proudly taking part in the 2026 Chevron City to Surf for genU! We are doing this to empower Western Australians living with disability - helping them grow their independence, achieve their goals, and live life to the fullest.
