Our story…

This year marks six years since Mason and Aiden lost their dad — more years than they were ever able to know him.

With the support of Lighthouse, both my boys (and ultimately me as well) found a space where our grief felt understood. In the middle of our new “abnormal,” Lighthouse helped us feel normal again — supported, seen, and never alone.

Since our loss, we have proudly participated in the Lighthouse 5K each year as a small way to give back to an organization that helped us navigate the most difficult time of our lives.
