My Story…
Four and a half years ago, i found out that I had stage 4 colon cancer, and my initial prognosis was grim. But with a fabulous health care team, the support of my family, friends, and CCRAN, and also a whole lot of good luck, I am beating the odds. I have been in NED status for over 2 years and counting! Now, I am highly motivated to demonstrate my gratitude for my outcome, by giving back and supporting other colorectal cancer patients. Fundraising through the Bum Run is one major way that I can make a difference for colorectal cancer patients and their families.
